Community involvement is of great importance to my family, my practice, and myself. This past January 28th, I had the pleasure of speaking at the Lindenhurst Church of God. It is important for me to share my knowledge about the world of law to those becoming entrepreneurs and business owners. I reached out to them to inform them about general liability for accidents, worker’s compensation, disability policies, tax issues, partnership agreements, corporation, and life insurance for employees. When managing a business and employees, the most valuable tool is knowledge: knowledge of how to run a business and knowledge on how to do so according to the law. We live in a complex and litigation-oriented society. There are many perils facing a business owner and having legal council available is both wise and prudent.
